READY OR NOT is a new Revue/Preview offering a sneak peek at three extraordinary projects coming this season from Asian Story Theater. First is a family-friendly new play for the New Year, adapting a Korean folk tale for WHEN THE TIGER SMOKED A PIPE. The second play will finally bring THE GOLDEN RULE to live audiences, a history-based play with music that recounts the challenges of immigrants following their dreams to California and the Gold Rush. And next summer comes NOT WORKING. Inspired by the popular 1970’s musical WORKING, this new musical considers the very modern story of essential, displaced, and forgotten workers in the time of Covid.
