SEE THE ELEPHANT is an interactive workshop in visual and musical storytelling. Actual journals of people around the world come to the California Gold Rush of 1848 will be interpreted through student workshops presented in 3 libraries. Project producer Kalí Kamaria will lead VAPA educators in leveraging connections to nearby schools’ curriculum and activities. Adjunct to Asian Story Theater’s new THE GOLDEN RULE, a musical stage production based on the same history; exhibition of participant art AND free show excerpt will end each workshop session.
